ÓSCAR GÓMEZ MONASTERIO

Oscar Gómez holds a Law Degree from the University of Seville and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy from ICADE, Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.

He began his professional career as a lawyer at GARRIGUES, in the Labor Law Department. In 2002 he joined BGI LAW, where he is currently Partner and Head of the Litigation Department.

During his professional career he has specialized in Administrative and Urban Law, having advised both companies and Public Administrations. This experience has allowed him to participate as a consultant in important urban and real estate projects, as well as hotel projects.

Due to his extensive training in labor law, he has also provided advisory services to large companies in this area, both in the judicial field, as well as in collective disputes and collective bargaining.

He currently advises large multinationals in the hotel and real estate sectors, which allows him to be in contact with major international brands.

In the litigation field, he has successfully conducted cases before the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court, which have been reported in the media.

Since 2010, he has also been teaching at one of the world’s leading business schools “Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester” in England, where he teaches the subject “Negotiation Skills” in the Global MBA.

He regularly delivers executive training to senior leaders at major multinational corporations, including companies such as ACCIONA and MTR in Hong Kong, specialising in negotiation skills and strategic decision-making in complex international environments.

He currently lectures regularly in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dubai, Sao Paulo, Tokyo and Manchester. He has also been invited to lecture on Negotiation Strategies in several countries.

In 2022, Oscar was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Andalusia, a position he continues to hold today.
