XXVII BGI FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN GOLF TOURNAMENT

Finca Cortesín hosted on Saturday 6th July the XXVII Golf Tournament in benefit of the BGI Foundation for Children.

On Saturday 6th July, the renowned Finca Cortesín golf course hosted the 27th Golf Tournament of the BGI Foundation for Children, the profits from which have gone entirely to the development of the different actions and projects of the Foundation in Colombia, Peru, the Dominican Republic and the Democratic Republic of Congo, in which it contributes to improving the living conditions (food, education, habitability…) of more than 1,600 children.

As in previous editions, more than a hundred golf lovers took part, ‘as well as spending an unforgettable day with friends and enjoying their favourite sport, they also wanted to contribute to the invaluable work carried out by the BGI Foundation for Children’, as highlighted by the president of BGI LAW, Julio Aguado, the tournament’s main sponsor.
For his part, Antonio Heredero, president of the BGI Foundation for Children, acknowledged the ‘immense generosity’ of the participants in what is one of the main sources of funding for child care projects that benefit more than 1,600 children in situations of social exclusion.
